What to Expect
How interlock services work in the state of Oklahoma.
IDAP Program
If you’ve been arrested for a DUI or APC in Oklahoma on or after 11/1/22, you are required to participate in the Impaired Driver Accountability Program (IDAP). If you successfully complete the program, the license revocation will not appear on your driving record. Under this program, you will have an ignition interlock device (IID) installed on any vehicle you drive and the interlock will stay on vehicle(s) for the same time period your license would be revoked. Below are some of the ways the IDAP program benefits you.
It reduces the amount of fees you will be required to pay to the State.
It prevents any revocation from appearing on your driving record.
It saves you a considerable amount of time otherwise spent in court.
